God Loves Anniversaries

EVERYTHING MEANS SOMETHING!

This is a BIG ONE-

As we connect the stars of history a beautiful constellation comes into our vision!

It is D-Day.

June 6, 1944 is the day our fathers stormed the beaches of Normandy.

4,414 young men died on the beaches that day.

40 years later, on June 6, 1984, the 40th U.S. President, Ronald Reagan, stood at Pointe du Hoch and honored all those who gave their lives.

Today is a moment to connect the dots of history.

Let nothing distract you!

God loves anniversaries.

60 years after the eve of D-Day, on June 5, 2004 California time, Ronald Reagan died.

The clocks in Europe ticked toward June 6th.

Big Ben chimed midnight in London, when we got the first word that Ronald Reagan had passed into that great company of D-Day warriors.

His generation...the generation of my father.

I remember how my beloved Dad, in his eighties, stood at full attention before the TV as his Commander in Chief's hearse carried Reagan to his final resting place.

I am certain that on the other side in heaven, the "boys of Pointe du Hoch" opened their arms to welcome President Reagan home as he crossed the finish line in the battle for liberty.

Everything means something.

In heaven we will see it all clearly.

Meanwhile...NEVER FORGET.
