Everything Means Something 9-11

Everything means something!

We remember the tragic attack of 9-11-2001 by Islamic terrorists, but few know that this date was not chosen at random.

318 years earlier, September 11-12, 1683, is the date of the Battle of Vienna.

The Christian army, led by King John Sobieski III of Poland, defeated the vast Islamic army of the Ottoman-Turks who were poised to overrun Europe and destroy Christianity.

King Sobieski, who led the cavalry charge against overwhelming odds, was lauded as a hero of the faith for generations.

A starry constellation was named for him.

Sobieski Scutum (Shield in Latin) shines between Aquila (the Eagle) and Sagittarius ( the Archer). The shield seems to protect the Eagle and the Archer from the terrible Serpent in the constellation, Serpens.

At the center of Sobieski's Shield is a great shining Cross, a reminder that the battle against all evil was won by the cross of our savior Jesus Christ!

It can be no accident that 318 years after the Battle of Vienna, in the midst of the rubble and heartache, the most remembered landmark was steel beams in the shape of a cross.

Yeshua HaMashiach is truly the ETERNAL Victor against every enemy and heartache which might come against us.

Though the enemies of Christianity chose this date to attack us on anniversary of their defeat at the Battle of Vienna, we know the end of the story! It is written in the Bible!

Jesus, our King and Savior; the Shield of David; is riding forth to conquer!

He is fighting for us!

No weapon forged against us will prevail!

This 9-11, remember a great eternal Victory is already won!

Everything means something!
