Fear

Dear Thoene Friends and Family,

Fear and worry can be overwhelming and soul crushing.

The Lord, our Father, does not intend for us to carry this weight!

He reminds us again and again that we are not alone. He is in control.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Have I not commanded you?

Be strong and of good courage;

do not be afraid, nor be dismayed,

for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

6 Do not be anxious about anything,

but in every situation, by prayer and petition,

with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,

will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.

I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Lay your fears at His feet today!

Worry is a conversation you have with yourself about the things you cannot change.

Prayer is a conversation you have with God about the things He can change.
